Quote of the night: "ARE YOU SURE YOU CAN MAKE IT UP THOSE STAIRS, GRANDMA!" Shouted by Ian in reference to a 40-something at Williams. The fact that he didn't notice our waitress Beckie was standing right there, and how embarrassed he was afterwards, only adds to the humour.

Everybody was vacuum-packed and sealed into the foyer at the Uptown theater to avoid the cold. Even still, these two late-20s girls shoved their way inside. We all were making conversation to pass the time until they'd let us into the movie, and at some point I was like "You're name is Aaaaa-- Baaaaa-- Jiiiii-- Sarah!" to the nearest one and she like did a double take and was like "Holy shit, how did you know that?!" At first I thought she was messing with me right back, but apparently I actually had guessed her named right, spelling and all, which really confused her.

They sat as far away from us as possible in the balcony, yet somehow everybody collectively got the idea to go sit around them and annoy them at the same time. So we did. They had a look of "oh, that's effing perfect" on their faces as soon as they noticed us on the way. John and I had done shots of Jameson before we went to stand in line, so we had definitely reached that irritatingly uninhibited level of drunk where it was all too easy to enjoy bugging the hell out of these two unfortunate bystanders.

When the movie was over, they ran out as fast as they possibly could, but then somehow managed to pull up right next to us on Hennepin on the way home. I wouldn't have honked and waved to draw attention to myself if I were them.

The other best quote of the evening: "Dolphin stabbing." Spoken by John as we passed the offices of the Dolphin Staffing employment office.
