The Decemberists show was fucking AWESOME. They are very animated in their performance and sound fantastical. I've come to realise that the singer's voice isn't annoying because A) that's really his natural singing voice, it isn't contrived which means 2) he's got a fucking fantastic talent that was iii) illustrated in his live performance tonight.
Waltz's are the coolest thing ever. Especially ones where I am blown away trying to figure out the time signature.
Oh, and I don't know why it took the Decemberists for me to figure this out, but... Why do bands smash their instruments at the end of their show? Because that is the only way to get the fans to go home and stop yelling, 'Encore!'
